This update is the biggest visual overhaul the storefront has received, and — less visibly — the fastest one. Below is everything that changed and how to use it.
Package galleries with a fullscreen lightbox
Package pages now support rich image tab galleries. Click any image — or the maximize button in the corner — to open the fullscreen viewer. What you get:
- Full keyboard navigation. Arrow keys step through the gallery,
Escapecloses it. No mouse required. - Thumbnail strip. The active thumbnail is outlined in accent purple, so you always know where you are.
- Video support. MP4 previews play inline in both the viewer and the main stage — perfect for showing a script's UI in motion.
- Counter and captions. Images can carry captions, and the "3 / 8" counter keeps long galleries honest.
Tip: galleries that mix still shots of the main screen with a short video clip consistently hold attention longer than either alone.
The blog, redesigned
The articles index is now built around readability instead of a wall of cards:
- Category tabs with underline styling — filtering is one click, and the empty state offers a reset instead of a dead end.
- A featured post rendered as a full-width hero with its cover art and first paragraph.
- Hover motion that is quiet but present — cards lift, covers zoom slightly, borders pick up the accent color.
- Article pages got the same treatment: a centered header with meta strip, a sticky table of contents, and related-post cards that actually match the index design.
Performance: the parts you will not see
Behind the scenes, three changes compound into noticeably calmer rendering:
- Parallel dashboard fetches. The overview and storefront layouts request their data in batches concurrently, cutting first-paint latency roughly in half.
- Incremental payment sync. The dashboard no longer re-reads your entire Tebex payment history on every visit — it looks back thirty days and reconciles only recent orders. Full syncs stay available with one click for audits.
- Cached theme settings. Storefront configuration is cached and invalidated together, so theme edits publish immediately while anonymous traffic avoids a database round-trip.
For builders: what changed in the theme editor
Two theme-side clean-ups ship with this update:
- The accent system now has a dedicated highlight color that is safe to use at full saturation for borders, badges, and active states — the softer accent still drives secondary buttons and subtle fills.
- Hero incentive strips accept fully custom text with consistent typography, so the row above your featured packages can say whatever your store needs it to say.
As always, updates land automatically — nothing to migrate, nothing to rebuild. If anything looks off after the rollout, a hard refresh clears cached assets; report anything persistent through support and we will fold it into the next patch.
